Scott Gripman's passion for the mortgage industry started on September 6, 1993, in Chicago, Illinois, and has been committed full-time ever since. Scott worked for several years under public and private nationwide mortgage companies to learn all the lending process stages. He started by marketing to countless prospective clients, analyzing all credit reporting bureaus, calculating income-to-debt ratios, product selection based on loan-specific criteria, originating hundreds of loan applications, processing multiple files, overseeing appraisal disputes, overcoming multifarious underwriter conditions, closed and funding more than a five thousand loans. 

On January 27, 1998, Scott was licensed to open Chicago Mortgage Corp. (Mortgage Broker). On February 20, 2002, he opened 1st Alliance Banc Corp. (Mortgage Banker), then expanded operations into six other states. On June 3, 2014, he decided with his wife of twenty years and four children to move to the "Valley of the Sun" in Phoenix, Arizona. After working for two mortgage houses for the subsequent two years, Scott was intensely unimpressed with their systems. Both companies had back-end operation issues, inefficient closing procedures, subpar client support, and the inability to give their clients the best mortgage options. As a result, he resigned. 

On June 2, 2016, Scott was approved and licensed by the Arizona Department of Financial Institutions to open AZ Financial, LLC. Scott is authorized to make all residential PURCHASE and REFINANCE mortgage loans such as single-family residential homes, townhouses, low to high-rise condominiums, and 1-4 unit(s) investment properties.
